Lydia's First Birthday

Lydia does believe she can have her cake and eat it too!!! Her family thinks she can also!

Can you believe that Lydia is a year old? We celebrated her birthday at Kelly Park in Apple Valley Friday June 20th @ 5pm. We were nervous as a huge storm cloud threathen to send us home but after many prayers the cloud parted and half of it went north of us and the other half went south. It was an amazing answer to Mommy's prayer. The kids enjoyed the water sprinkerlers and the playground while the adults visited and enjoyed the outdoors. Lydia loved seeing her friends and family. Grandma and Papa Shaw were here visiting with James and Hanah. We realized on the way home yesterday that we are blessed with wonderful friends and family. Lydia has grown so much in the last year and we look orward to the next year as she becomes a bit more independent. She is a great little sister and her big Brothers love taking care of her. Lydia is a beautiful baby girl. Happy Birthday!!!
