We finally did it. Papa Jim and Grandma Shaw came to town and during their visit took Lydia to the Mall of America and her ears were pierced. She was wonderful and worked through the aligator tears. Her earrings are beautiful.
Lydia had no idea what was happening.
She did cry a bit. That is why daddy choose not to go and witness this rite of passage.
Lydia got tons of hugs from grandma.
